Here are the rules for my Twitch channel, they’re all reasonable and aren’t up for discussion.
1. No racism/sexism/bigotry/MAGA garbage.
This one is VERY clear, and if you engage in that crap in other channels/social media you’ll be banned here as well.
2. No personal attacks on other chatters/streamers.
Like rule 1, this shouldn’t have to be said. But some people can’t figure it out.
They won’t be around long if they don’t.
And like rule 1 this includes social media and other channels.
3. No demanding I play a different game, telling me the game I’m playing is stupid, or telling me I’m playing it wrong.
This happens far too often, people come into someone’s channel and demand they play something else, trash the game they’re playing, or tell them they’re playing it wrong and not in a nice way.
Don’t.
The only exception to not trashing the game is if I’m intentionally playing bad games, like I used to do for “Terrible Game Thursday” years ago. And in that case it’ll be in the stream title, or a graphic in the stream layout itself.
4. No backseating
I’m aware I’m probably bad at whatever game I’m playing, if I want to know how to do something I’m stuck on I’ll ask.
5. No console wars.
Keep it out of my channel, I don’t care and don’t need to know why you think Sony/MS/Nintendo is the worst company ever and should die in a fire.
